The Excellence in Education Awards celebrates educators and students who use Apple technology in innovative and impactful ways. Whether you're coding with Swift, exploring AI, creating digital art, or integrating iPad/Mac into your curriculum—this is your moment to shine.
Join thousands of schools across South Africa in showcasing how you bring learning to life with Apple. This year’s challenge is simple, bold and creative: "How have you used Apple products to bring learning to life?"
Award Categories
Each entry will be judged within its grade band (R–3, 4–7, 8–12).
Creative Excellence
Most creative use of
Apple products and apps.
Curriculum Excellence
Seamless curriculum integration, bringing learning concepts to life.
Tech Excellence
Most innovative AI or
coding project.
Note: In Grades R-3 and 4-7, prizes will be awarded per category. In Grades 8-12, there will be one winner (Combined categories).
HOW TO ENTER
- Create your project using iPad or Mac.
- Submit entry in mp4 format via Google drive or YouTube. File name must include student/s and school name.
- Include names of teacher and student(s) at the beginning of the project.
- A resource list acknowledging any tools or sources used.
- High-quality media that reflects your creativity.

Deadline for submissions: Friday, 2 October 2026.
WHO CAN ENTER
- Students from Grades R–12.
- Individual or group entries (up to 2 students per project, 1 teacher).
- Entries must be supported by a teacher.

Grade 8-12
